Starting in May 2023, our hotel is proud to be certified with the @GreenKey label, an international recognition that confirms our concrete commitment to sustainable tourism.

This certification shows that Hotel Suite Inn meets high environmental sustainability standards—from energy management to waste reduction, from responsible water use to caring for the surrounding environment.

Certification promoted by the
European Tourism Going Green project

ETGG2030 (funded by the EU COSME programme)

Suite Inn is among the first 15 Italian businesses—seven in Friuli Venezia Giulia and eight in Basilicata—to have “graduated” in sustainability after completing the certification pathway promoted by the European Tourism Going Green – ETGG2030 project (funded by the EU COSME programme), which involved an international network including the Chamber of Commerce of Pordenone-Udine and ASSET – the Special Agency of the Chamber of Commerce of Basilicata.

The Friulian and Lucanian chambers supported the selected businesses through almost two years of intensive work, culminating in the Vienna conference in early May 2023, where the results were shared within the network.

ETGG2030 was created to promote the sharing and transfer of best practices between countries, enabling certified sustainability that can be effectively valued on the market.

The programme began with specialised training for businesses and an in-depth assessment, so that each company could choose the most suitable certification, with expert support at every stage.
